A little bit about me

I am 31 years old and I live with my daughter who is six. We live in a quiet street with a small park and playing field opposite, where we like to spend time after school. We use the whole of our ground floor and the front secure garden for childminding activities.

I have been working as a registered childminder since March 2009, and I have loved every minute. As somebody that has had to go out to work and find childcare, I know how hard it can be. I want you to feel safe in the knowledge that your child is secure and happy.

I am passionate about the importance of the early years of a child’s life and provide a safe, friendly, home environment with a family atmosphere in which all children can play and feel valued, so that they can learn and develop.

I will care for your child in the same way you would at home, through praise and encouragement, reading stories and giving cuddles whenever they are needed. I also understand every child is different and each child in my care will be treated as individuals. I appreciate that parents are the most important people in a child’s life and therefore consult with parents on all aspects of their child’s care.
